PosterLad is my independent art project a space where I explore visual ideas freely.
I started PosterLad in 2016, and since then my style has continued to evolve.
I believe a poster doesn’t need to promote anything; for me, it’s a playground for geometry, bold colors, and 90s inspired nostalgia.
My work isn’t about delivering deep messages it’s simply about creating something visually striking that captures attention and offers a moment of aesthetic pleasure.
I’ve never believed in staying confined to one visual formula, and that openness has helped the project grow organically. Over time, PosterLad gained strong visibility on social platforms and received several international design awards an honor I’m truly grateful for.
Today, I work as a full-time artist and actively collaborate with clients seeking a personal, artistic approach. My work is also part of the digital art space on SuperRare, a leading NFT platform featuring a curated selection of contemporary artists.
I’ve exhibited worldwide in cities such as Shanghai, Paris, London, and New York both in solo and group shows. On the South Korean market, I’m represented by Pinzle.

I’ve never believed in staying confined to one visual formula, and that openness has helped the project grow organically. Over time, PosterLad gained strong visibility on social platforms and received several international design awards an honor I’m truly grateful for.
Today, I work as a full-time artist and actively collaborate with clients seeking a personal, artistic approach. My work is also part of the digital art space on SuperRare, a leading NFT platform featuring a curated selection of contemporary artists.

I was born in Prague, Czech Republic, and began my creative journey in film school,
I started PosterLad in 2016, and since then my style has continued to evolve.
where I studied video editing and explored animation. Over time, I discovered that my true passion lay in graphic design.
I spent more than a decade working as a freelance designer, which eventually led me to co-found Pecka Studio. After several inspiring years in Amsterdam, I am now back in Prague, continuing to create and push my artistic direction forward.
A quote that deeply resonates with me:
“Vratislav managed to get international exposure for his excellent work. I appreciate the fact that the work is purely formal and does not pretend to advertise or promote anything, there is no function that manages to drag the work into the gutter.”
